Nobody likes dog poop, so we‘re doing something about it! FIDOS is determined to put a serious dent in this problem through education and by simply getting out there and picking it up.
Every month FIDOS will be holding a "Pack Out the Poo" trail area clean up. We’ll supply disposable gloves and garbage bags. At the end of the clean up, we usually have a raffle for product prizes donated by local companies.
Marshall Mesa Trail | Friday, January 21, 2011 | 9:30 AM | Meet at the trailhead 0.9 miles east of Highway 93 on south side of Highway 170 (Marshall Road). |
Dry Creek Trail | Saturday, February 25, 2012 | 9:30 AM | Meet at the trailhead 1 mile east of Cherryvale Road on Baseline Road. |
Doudy Draw - N Springbrook | Saturday, March 24, 2012 | 9:30 AM | Meet at the trailhead 1.7 miles west of Highway 93 on the south side of Eldorado Springs Road. |
If you’re a FIDOS member, you’ll also be notified of these clean-ups or if additional events are happening in the DogE Newsletter.
